GIVING BACK
Local businesses are the backbone of our community, and they are often run by neighbours, people like you and me.
That’s why it’s so important to us that we “support local”. And there are so many ways we can do this as a community. As a team, we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work in our community and we try our best to give back in any way that we can. We can all make great things happen when we do our best to support local, home grown businesses that provide jobs back to our communities.
At Florian Realty Team, we do this by being actively involved in our community, sponsoring local charities and street events, as well as supporting local businesses in our client gifts and helping to create awareness and show leadership whenever we can. To us, community is everything, and every little bit matters.
When it comes to charity, we believe charity begins at home, where we live.
Our annual fall food drive and toy drive has been going strong for over 11 years. We’ve stopped counting the pounds of food that this community has helped us raise, but it helps us to sleep at night knowing we’re doing our part.
When COVID hit, our team committed to starting a weekly food drive to support the numerous food banks and family centres in need throughout our region so that no one goes hungry. To date, our donations have supported the Burlington Food Bank, Halton Women’s Place, Halton Compassion Society, Salvation Army and Food4Kids. These are all incredible organizations with big hearts and we are so proud and humbled to be in their company. And the response from our community? There are no words and we are so grateful to live and work here.
