What to Expect:
Tree Planting: We’ll be adding 200 trees to Norton Park, following recommendations from the city arborist. Let’s nurture our community’s green spaces together!
High School Volunteers: Students seeking volunteer hours are welcome! Don’t forget to bring your volunteer sheets for us to sign.
Lunch: After the planting, enjoy a light lunch of wraps from Pita Pit. It’s a great opportunity to mingle with your neighbors.
Important Notes:
Attire: Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring gardening gloves.
Tools: If you have a shovel, please bring it along. We’ll have some available, but quantities may be limited.
Stay Hydrated: Bring your own water bottle to help us reduce plastic waste. We won’t be providing drinks at the event.
Registration: You must register to attend. Please let us know in the registration form if you plan to stay for lunch so we can plan accordingly.
